Origin of wood
Our wood comes from strictly controlled plantations, where replanting is guaranteed. All wooden products with the brand WObbel come from the best FSC® certified wood bending factory in Europe. Among other things, the Wobbel is made of sustainably pressed European FSC® certified beech wood that has been treated with child-friendly lacquers and stains. For Wobbels with special types of wood, we use core layers of FSC® certified European beech wood and carefully selected top layers of FSC® certified and common wood types from within and outside Europe. In addition, the bending shop is very efficient with its raw materials and waste is kept to a minimum. For example, residual wood is also used to heat the spaces and the press moulds.
All wooden Wobbel products are FSC® certified and are supplied under FSC CoC certificate number CU-COC-828395-OG.
Products with the Wobbel Candy brand are made in Germany from carefully selected maple and beech wood and come from sustainably managed European plantations. All wooden Wobbel Candy products are independently 100% PEFC certified and are supplied under PEFC CoC certificate number CU-PEFC-COC-828395-OG.
Origin felt
Our EKO wool felt is made from the best available natural felt from a local supplier. It is colored by nature. Our unique pressed felt for the Wobbel Pro, Starter and 360 is mainly made from recycled soft drink bottles, between 10 and 20 PET bottles per Wobbel.
Origin of packaging
Our packaging is made entirely from recycled and recyclable cardboard. The logo is applied with sustainable ink that does not interfere with the recycling process.
Own workshop
All Wobbels are manufactured in Europe and finished in the Netherlands. After quality control, they leave from our own workshop in Wageningen.
